groovy

Firstly let me say a groovy new year to one and all!!  It sounds like most have started off on a positive note, a sure sign of better things to come for 2008.

I’d like to just post a wee reminder to all of those WAHMs who maintain their own accounts, amongst other records.  BACK UP!!!!  I’m sure all of you are much more diligent than I and have all your files backed up anyways.  But just in case, do it NOW!  I’m the optimistic record keeper who believes that their system will never crash and all will be just fine.  How wrong I was.  The hard drive crashed and of course I didn’t have everything backed up did I!?  Naturally the old drive is unrecoverable short of sending it to a specialist and paying anywhere from $1000 - $3000, needless to say I won’t be doing that. 

So I started reentering all my accounts from day 1 (lucky we’re just over 1year old) and I somehow stumbled across a file saved on the maxtor from September - phew!!  That has saved me a LOT of work (especially seeing as I haven’t put my tax in for last year yet).  Please if you are an account hater like me and put it off and put it off and don’t back up do it NOW!  You might just save yourself a lot of agony in the future…

Once again let’s hope 2008 brings us all some worthwhile rewards
